Notable Labs seeks a passionate cloud-native leader to drive IT infrastructure and compliance to enable innovative cancer tests and clinical trials built on custom software running in a highly automated robotic laboratory.
Own and manage the cloud infrastructure, hardware platforms, network, network security, desktop/personal computing, and helpdesk support.
Manage corporate IT strategy, including administration of the office and laboratory
Develop and maintain IT Standard Operating Procedures including IT support, HW/SW procurement, network administration, and information security.
Works with leadership to develop and facilitate the IT strategy and services for the company.
Develop long-term plans and set the tactical direction for the IT infrastructure needs of the company.
Manage external vendor relationships including managed IT contractors
Plan and build and infrastructure capable of enabling business objectives
Manage the IT and software budget for the company
Proven ability to successfully deliver frequent seamless IT audits and evaluations.
Proven ability to build relationships using formal and informal networks and effective communication with the ability to adapt within the organization.
Consistently meets deadlines in a fast-paced growing environment.
Proven experience delivering value with a mix of SaaS and IaaS in a biotechnology environment.
Excellent project management skills using project management software (e.g. Jira/Confluence).
Excellent communication and technical writing skills with empathy for the intended audience blending technical and user-friendly language.
A successful, self-motivated, and empathetic cross-functional leader with strong interpersonal skills.
Outstanding relationship management with colleagues, leadership, informal networks, and external contractors.
10+ years’ experience leading IT in a biotech, healthcare, or other relevant regulatory environment.
Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Degree in Computer Science preferred.
Ability to understand Amazon core infrastructure components including security and compliance implications.
IT vendor management and SLA management expertise.
Deep cloud-first experience managing the following infrastructure: Okta, GSuite, Atlassian, Meraki, Cisco, Zoom, AWS, Box and other SaaS providers.
Knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements, data privacy practices and laws including FDA 21 CFR Part 11, CLIA, ISO, GxP, and HIPAA as they relate to the management of IT Infrastructure in research and clinical lab environments.
